    Description

1990's Ted Williams Signed Original Painting by George Wright. Employing vivid colors and striking detail, artist George Wright successfully captures a 1950's Ted Williams kneeling in the on-deck circle, with flexed forearms and two bats on his shoulder, waiting for his turn at bat. The Kid is perfectly centered, staring straight at you with a big smile on his face. Beneath him sits the green, green grass of Fenway Park and a white towel for wiping off the lumber. Marvelous detail includes dirt stain on his uniform, shin protector on his right leg, and many interesting faces in the crowd behind him - a boy blowing a bubble, a man lost in thought, a fan yelling, and a vendor selling hot dogs. That's 1950's baseball, folks. Wonderful autograph in gold sharpie on the left grades a 9/10. Framed 28.5x34.5". Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
