Description

1990's Mickey Mantle "Triple Crown" Ring. If you had to select the apex of Mickey Mantle's career, it would have to be the season of 1956. He was young (just twenty-five), healthy, and at the peak of his powers and fame. That year, he captured the elusive Triple Crown and his Yankees won yet another World Series. It was the best of times and the way we all like to remember Mickey Mantle.

Spectacularly crafted with 10k gold and real diamonds, the ring on offer here pays homage to that mythical campaign. There is a dramatic raised "7" on the face which is studded with seven round diamonds and sits atop a glistening red stone, surrounded by "Triple Crown." The left side announces the last four "Triple Crown" winners of the twentieth century, namely "Yastrzemski, Robinson, Williams, Mantle," while the right side heralds "Mantle" along with his stats for "1956," including "52, 130, .353."

Measuring to a size of ten and three quarters (10.75) and weighing a substantial thirty-seven grams (37 g.), the ring features "71 10" and "10k Jostens" stamped in the inner band. The perfect accessory for the diehard Mantle fan who wants to take Mickey with him wherever he goes.
