1990 Last Game at Old Comiskey Park Final Out Baseball & Chicago White Sox Dugout Line-up Card. A modern marvel of steel and concrete when erected by Charles Comiskey in 1910, the stadium saw everything from the Black Sox' treachery to Beatlemania to "Disco Demolition Night" during its nine decades of life. Comiskey Park history was concluded when this OAL (Brown) ball recorded the final out on September 30, 1990. Ball is unmarked, but accompanied by a letter from Richard M. Holtzman, a member of the ChiSox ownership group, attesting to the provenance. Also here is the dugout card that was tacked to the dugout wall by ChiSox manager Jeff Torborg , whose Pale Sox fittingly closed out the venerable old park with a two to one victory over the visiting Seattle Mariners. The batting line-up and available staff are penned in Torborg's hand, as are later notations about the season and the text "Last game in Comiskey Park." The card for the "9/30/90" game measures 5.5x7.5" and is matted and framed to 8.5x10". All good things must come to an end, and Comiskey Park came to its end here. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
