    Description

1990 Cincinnati Reds World Series Championship Ring. Identical in format to those earned on the field by Larkin, Davis and O'Neill, this symbol of elite achievement was issued to the longtime administrative assistant to controversial team owner Marge Schott. The ring is accompanied by a letter of provenance from that assistant's son, who notes that his mother requested a man's ring to give to her husband.

Crafted from ten karat gold, the size eleven (11) ring features a real diamond studded logo Reds "C" on the face, set in a red stone. Running the perimeter in raised lettering, "Cincinnati Reds 1990 World Champions." Left shank features a miniature Riverfront Stadium and the words "Pfarr, Wire to Wire." Right shank holds a miniature World Series trophy with the text "Sweep, C-4, A-0." Interior band stamped "LGB 10K." Weight is thirty-three grams (33 g.). Proud wear evident, but still an impressive display piece, housed in its original wood and etched glass display case. Letter of provenance from son of original recipient.
