Description

1989 Eric Gregg World Series Umpire's Ring. Reminiscent of the 1951 World Series ring, this ten karat gold umpire's ring was presented to Eric Gregg for his work during the Earthquake Series. "1989 World Series Umpire" on top around single diamond. Sides read "Oakland A's" and "San Francisco Giants." Size 11.25, weight: thirty-three grams (33g.). NRMT in original Balfour box. Perhaps only the 1919 World Series, which featured a human rather than a natural disaster, is more boldly etched into the history books.
