    Description

1988 Oakland Athletics A.L. Championship Ring. Recalling the days of the Bash Brothers is this impressive ten-karat gold ring presented to a scout for the unstoppable Oakland A's. The eventual World Champs were awarded these glimmering tokens after a decisive four-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox, an accomplishment noted with the "1988 Oakland American League Champions" text that rings the real diamond-studded "A's" logo on green stone at center face. The logo elephant and scout's surname "Franchi" appears on left shank, with an image of Oakland Coliseum and the "Athletics" name above. Jostens maker's stamping inside band, which measures to a size 10.5. In original velvet case, NRMT-MT. Guide Value or Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
