1986 Lenny Dykstra New York Mets World Championship Trophy. Glorious, glittering prize is the very one presented to Nails for his contributions in claiming the second World Championship in franchise history for the New York Mets. Perhaps no Mets player was as "clutch" that October as Dykstra, whose walk-off home run in Game Three of the National League Championship Series is remembered as one of the most important long balls in Shea history. Dykstra twice went deep in the World Series, including a momentum-shifting long ball in the first at-bat at Fenway after the Mets dropped Games One and Two at home. While any Championship trophy recalling that magical Series in which the Mets came a single strike from elimination before the Bambino smiled down upon his Big Apple brethren carries tremendous appeal (unless you're a Red Sox fan), the personally owned trophy of key player Lenny Dykstra stands head and shoulders above any others ever offered at public auction. Height is 12".
