    Description

1986 Jose Canseco American League Rookie of the Year Award. He's one of the most controversial figures in baseball today, so if history is any indication, his market will continue to grow in the future with the likes of Shoeless Joe and the Eight Men Out. This key figure in the modern game's greatest scandal was presented this illustrious award for his remarkable debut campaign, one in which he clubbed thirty-three long balls and drove in 117 runs as the most productive slugger for the surging Oakland Athletics. The plaque measures approximately 9.5x12" in size and exhibits some mild handling wear which does little to distract the eye. Included is a signed photo of the twenty-one year old "Chemist" posing with the prize. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autographed photo). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autographed photo).
