    Description

    1986 Boston Red Sox American League Championship Ring. The name "Bumbry" on the right shank of the presented ring is believed to relate to Al Bumbry who likely had some affiliation with the club prior to the official 1988 beginning of his coaching career with the team. A logo "B" studded with faux diamonds is set into a red stone on the face and surrounded by the text "American League Champions." Left shank announces "1986" with the score of the ALCS and an image of Fenway Park in miniature. Team logo underscores Bumbry's surname on right. Interior band measures to a size 10.5 and is stamped "LGB CE," indicating non-gold construction by Balfour.
