1983 Pine Tar Game Ephemera Lot with Multiple Signed Pieces. Large folder of documents related to the Pine Tar Game is too large to itemize in the space available, but all contents will be imaged at our online listing, so we recommend interested bidders to visit our website to review the complete inventory. Among the more notable items are a pair of handwritten index cards from George Brett to Barry Halper authenticating the pine tar bat which was later retrieved by Brett and donated to the Hall of Fame, an 8x10" photo of Brett's freakout signed by Brett and all the umpires with great notations, a bumper sticker reading "I Pine for George," court documents relating to the late-season completion of the pine tar game, and carbon copies of the dugout cards for the completion of the game of both teams, each signed and notated by Brett. All items remain in fine condition, with minimal handling and storage wear. All items were originally sold together in the famous 1999 Barry Halper auction. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
