1982 World Series Umpire Presentational Ring. It may seem like umpire's get nothing but abuse, but here's proof to the contrary. In his capacity as Supervisor of Umpires, noted "man in black" Dick Butler was presented this ten karat gold ring for service to the 1982 Series. A real diamond is set at the center of a miniature baseball diamond upon the ring's face, ringed by the words "World Series Umpire." The shanks announce the two competing teams in that Fall Classic--the St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers--with charming baseball imagery of bats, gloves and ballplayers interspersed. Butler's name and "Balfour" markings are found within the band, which measures to a size nine. Please see also Butler's collection of All-Star Game rings likewise presented within this auction.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
