    Description

1981 Los Angeles Dodgers World Championship Ring. Glittering prize was presented to a front office employee at Chavez Ravine working while the home team battled to its first World Championship since the retirement of Sandy Koufax. A real diamond is set into the blue stone of the ring face, which is encircled by raised text proudly announcing "Los Angeles Dodgers World Champions." The left shank provides the owner's surname, "Flemming," above a Dodgers logo, while the right pictures the World Series Trophy and the year of glory. "Balfour 10K" stamping appears inside band, which measures to a size 10.5. Identical in design to the rings issued to Garvey, Cey, Valenzuela and Lasorda.
