1981-82 Lloyd Waner Signed Perez-Steele Postcard, PSA Gem Mint 10. This younger Waner brother is one of the greatest challenges to collectors of autographed Perez-Steele cards, as the Pittsburgh Pirates legend passed away in July 1982, just months after the hobby-favorite issue hit the shelves. We've offered only one other signed Lloyd Waner example in our history, a rarity that drew a winning bid of $11,352 in November 2013.The listed specimen is every bit the equal of that earlier offering, sans the nickname, and signed in blue felt tip. The card itself, numbered "00836/10,000," shows light corner wear. It is theorized that fewer than ten examples exist, so bid now or forever hold your peace. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Gem Mint 10.
