Description

1980 Robin Yount Game Used Fielder's Glove. It was a breakout season for the 1999 Hall of Fame inductee, his first All-Star Game, and his first top-twenty finish in American League MVP voting. The Rawlings Pro-H glove is typically an outfielder model, but Yount favored the extra leather at the shortstop position. Game use is characterized as "outstanding" in the PSA/DNA letter of examination, who detail heavy pocket wear, evidence of glove oiling, and indentations where Yount's fingers molded the glove over time. Fading marker notations announce "19" and "Y" on the wrist strap, and "Robin" and "19" on the top of the thumb. "Milw Brewers" is written at interior pinky, and a later silver sharpie signature on exterior thumb rates 9/10. An outstanding representation. LOA from PSA/DNA. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
