    Description

1980 BBWAA Rookie of the Year Award Presented to Steve Howe & Game Worn Fielder's Glove. Remembered for his brilliance on the mound and his struggles off of it, Howe lost his battle with addiction on April 28, 2006 when he rolled his pickup truck in Coachella, California with methamphetamine in his blood. The offered lot recalls happier times in the life of the superstar southpaw. First is a presentational clock from the Baseball Writers Association of America, issued in honor of his 1980 Rookie of the Year Award. Clock remains in fine, functional condition and is signed in 10/10 black sharpie by Howe. Also here is a nicely used Easton EXP4FB fielder's glove, autographed in 9/10 gold paint pen. A simple 1994 letter of provenance from Howe is included. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autographs).

‡ The owner placed a late bid on this unreserved lot and repurchased it, subject to applicable commission.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
