1978 Fergie Jenkins Game Worn Fielder's Glove. A rare gamer from the Cy Young Award winner, Hall of Famer, and first pitcher to amass 3,000 strikeouts and less than 1,000 walks. Fergie used this glove during the 1978 season, when he recorded an 18-8 record with the Texas Rangers and finished sixth in the Cy Young balloting.

The "Rawlings Pro H-P" (a pro stock designation, as opposed to retail stock) features supple, high grade leather, "HolDster" back control, the "Basketweb," and a "D-ring" wrist closure. The glove shows nice wear and the leather is extremely soft and well-oiled. "Fergie" appears in vintage faded black marker on the outside of the specimen, next to one of the two Rawlings tags. The glove was examined by Joe Phillips, the foremost glove authenticator in the world, and his LOA accompanies this spectacular offering. LOA from Joe Phillips. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
