1977-80 Willie McCovey & Spec Richardson Signed San Francisco Giants Contracts & Contract Correspondence Lot of 10 from The Willie McCovey Collection. 1) 1977 Giants' six-page player's contract (with two-page rider) for $50,000 per season is signed thrice and initialed once by Willie McCovey and signed thrice and initialed once by Giants' GM Spec Richardson; 2) 1978-79 Giants' four-page player's contract (copy) for $125,000 per season is unsigned; 3) 1980 Giants' six-page player's contract (with special covenants addendum) for $100,000 per season is signed twice by Richardson. A Richardson signed letter (copy) and mailer regarding the contract is also attached; 4) 1980 Giants' three-page player's contract for $100,000 per season is signed twice by McCovey and Richardson (copy); 5) 1977 Richardson two-page typed signed letter on Giants letterhead regarding contract; 6-9) 1978 Richardson typed signed letter (with mailer) on Giants letterhead regarding contract plus two copies; and 10) 1980 Richardson typed signed letter (with mailer) on Giants letterhead regarding contract.
