1975 Cincinnati Reds World Series Champions Ring Presented to Outfielder Merv Rettenmund. The Big Red Machine was a force of excellence during the decade of the 1970's, winning four National League Pennants and two World Series with a lineup of All-Stars, MVP's and future Hall of Famers that made the team's talent level laughable. Players like Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, George Foster, Tony Perez, Dave Concepcion, Ken Griffey and Cesar Geronimo. In 1975, the team reached its greatest heights by winning 108 games and besting the Boston Red Sox in one of the most action packed and exciting World Series in baseball history.

Presented here is Merv Rettenmund's ring from that incomparable season. Merv Rettenmund always seemed to be a part of winning organizations, his teams reaching the post season in thirteen of his thirty-three seasons a player or coach, including six World Series.

This size 13.25 "Balfour 14k" gold ring has one genuine diamond set above a red stone on the top of the ring, surrounded by "1975 Cincinnati Reds World Champions." On the left shank, there is a likeness on Riverfront Stadium with "The Big Red Machine" tucked neatly inside. Above and below are the identifiers of the ring's owner: "Rettenmund" and "26." On the right shank is displayed the World Series trophy with the only numbers that matter: "Reds 4, Red Sox 3." A rare ring from a team of gods in baseball's pantheon. Weight thirty-four grams (34g.). Letter of provenance from Merv Rettenmund.
