    Description

1974 Hank Aaron Record Newspaper Signed by 500 Home Run Club with Sadaharu Oh. The "Original Eleven" cranked out autographed baseballs, bats and photos in the late 1980's, but this is an intriguing variation on the theme. One insightful collector saved a copy of The Los Angeles Times the day Hammerin' Hank toppled the Babe, and the got to work collecting autographs. Beyond the standard fare: Aaron, Mays, Robinson, Killebrew, Mathews, Mantle, Banks, Schmidt, Williams, McCovey and Jackson, the collector tracked down new member Eddie Murray and even the legendary Japanese long ball artist Sadaharu Oh. About half of the signers add their career tally. All are 9/10 or better, and the newspaper section remains solid and complete with no apparent damage beyond typical age-toning. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
