Description

    1972 Luis Aparicio All-Star Game Ring with Aparicio Letter. A tenth and final Midsummer Classic appearance for the slick-fielding shortstop and 1956 American League Rookie of the Year. A purple stone is set into the face, with "All Star 1972" on left shank and the word "Baseball" at right. Interior band is stamped "14K" and engraved "LEA 7-25-72." Fine condition. Size ten. Included is a letter from Aparicio gifting the ring to famed collector Barry Halper. Letter of provenance from Luis Aparicio.
