1971 All-Star Game Ring Presented to Walt Alston. Walt Alston did the unthinkable when he guided the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers to their only World Series title in the borough. After all too many near-misses, the Dodgers were the toast of baseball. He was also the skipper when the team bolted for Los Angeles. The Hall of Fame manager was presented this size 11.75 ring for his inclusion in the 1971 All-Star Game. A blue stone is centered on front. "1971 All-Star Game W.A" and "14K 0-S LX" are etched inside. The original presentation box ("Alston" stickered on bottom) attends. Weight is twelve (12g.). Letter of provenance from Alston family.
