    Description

1970 World Series MVP Louisville Slugger Award from The Brooks Robinson Collection. He's universally considered the greatest fielding third baseman in the sport's history, but Robinson put on an offensive show for the ages in the 1970 Fall Classic, setting and/or tying the records for most hits in a five-game Series, most total bases in a five-game Series, and most hits in one World Series game. Pair that with a defensive performance that caused losing Cincinnati Reds manager Sparky Anderson to lament, "I'm beginning to see Brooks in my sleep," and 1970 World Series MVP voting was a landslide.

This is how Louisville Slugger honored Robinson, with a game-issued signature model R180 affixed to a wooden base and affixed with plaques picturing the grinning Hall of Famer and recounting his 1970 Fall Classic heroics. A marvelous display piece from an all-time great at the peak of his career. Dimensions 13x38". Letter of provenance from Brooks Robinson.
