1970 Baltimore Orioles World Series Championship Ring Presented to Outfielder Merv Rettenmund.
Merv Rettenmund always seemed to be a part of winning organizations, his teams reaching the postseason in thirteen of his thirty-three seasons a player or coach, including six World Series. As a player, he was part of two of baseball's greatest World Series champions - the 1970 Baltimore Orioles and the 1975 Cincinnati Reds. In retirement, he was on the short list of the game's most respected and sought after hitting coaches, reaching the World Series three more times in that capacity.

Rettenmund was a key cog in Baltimore Orioles run of three straight American League pennants and one World Series title between 1969-1971, twice leading the team in hitting. These teams included MVP winners Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson and Boog Powell, and twenty-game winners Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar and Dave McNally. In 1970, the Orioles won 108 games and he was the team's leading hitter, batting .322. Baltimore would go on to dispatch Cincinnati in the World Series four games to one.

This size 13.25 "Jenkins 14k" gold ring has "Baltimore Orioles World Champions" on the top of the ring around a single genuine diamond inside a likeness of Memorial Stadium. The left shank displays the American League logo with "1970 Champions," while the right shank announces "Merv Rettenmund 14" down a vertical ribbon with "1970" above an Orioles hat, bat, glove and ball. A rare ring from a truly memorable champion. NRMT. Weight thirty-eight grams (38g.). Letter of provenance from Merv Rettenmund.
