1966 Roberto Clemente Game Used Fielder's Glove, PSA/DNA Authentic. In the 1966 MLB season, Roberto Clemente delivered one of the most complete performances of his Hall of Fame career. Playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates, he posted a .317 batting average, collected 202 hits, and drove in 119 runs over 154 games. His power also peaked, with a career-high 29 home runs that season. Clemente's offensive production helped him win the National League MVP award, beating out other elite performers of the era with his balanced mix of power, contact, and clutch hitting.

Defensively, Clemente continued to cement his status as one of the greatest right fielders in baseball history. Known for his cannon-like arm and impeccable range, he led the Senior Circuit with seventeen outfield assists in 1966, routinely cutting down baserunners who dared to challenge him. That year, he earned his sixth of a dozen consecutive Gold Glove Awards, recognizing him as the best defensive right fielder in the National League. His combination of graceful glove work and pinpoint throwing accuracy made him a defensive cornerstone for the Pirates.

Presented is a MacGregor KC3 glove demonstrating spectacular wear from Clemente's sole MVP season (plus a bit of post-Clemente use, as noted in the PSA/DNA letter of authenticity). The glove is constructed from MacGregor's top-grade kangaroo hide, with a cartoon imprint of that Australian marsupial in the pocket. Vintage black marker on the thumb retains a bold number "21" in the distinctive numerical font favored by the Pirates, with "Clemente" faded but still legible immediately after.
