1962 San Francisco Giants National League Championship Money Clip Presented to Catcher John Orsino.
The first National League Champions of the 162-game era, the Giants won 103 regular season games and then two out of three in a tie-breaking mini-series against the Dodgers to earn the right to face the vaunted Yankees in the 1962 Fall Classic. Willie Mays (49, 141, .304) and Orlando Cepeda (35, 114, .306) headlined the Bay's heavy lumber brigade which also included Felipe Alou and Willie McCovey. Meanwhile the pitching staff was very formidable with four hurlers that won between sixteen and twenty-four games. In total, this talented team fielded five players who would go on to win four MVP's and three Cy Youngs.

Raised lettering and graphics with "National League Champions 1962, San Francisco Giants" complimented by a ball and bat. This squad was riding a bear market all season until the Bombers deflated their currency in October. Fourteen karat gold stamp on back along with catcher John Orsino's name and number "34." 40.3 grams and 26 DWT (pennyweight). EX-MT, missing one of the two original miniature bats.
