1961 Jackie Robinson Signed Check. A few days before his forty-second birthday, the bravest man ever to wear a Major League uniform utilized this personal check to donate twenty dollars to the "Grand Street Boys," a civic organization involved in various New York City-related charitable works. All ink, and the official "Jack Robinson" signature, is applied with 9+/10 boldness. The bank's punch coding remains well clear of the autograph.
