    Description

1960's-80's Baseball Hall of Famers Signed Plaque Postcards Lot of 16. Meticulously filed and documented collection was clearly a labor of love for one dedicated collector who either waited each year for Hall of Fame induction weekend or took to the mail to have baseball greats sign yellow HOF postcards. Offered are nineteen signed postcards of baseball greats. Most signed on the uppermost center in 8/10 or 9/10 ink. A few are lesser and departures will be notated. Included are: Waite Hoyt, Earl Averill, Lefty Grove (smudged), Red Ruffing, Joe McCarthy, Judy Johnson, Casey Stengel (signed twice front mussed/reverse bold ballpoint), Lefty Gomez, Travis Jackson, George Kelly, Ted Lyons, Carl Hubbell, Stanley Coveleski, Edd Roush (signed on front and back), Jesse Haines and Hank Greenberg. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
