1960 Red Ruffing Presentation Clock Honoring 1939 All-Star Team. A reunion was in order in 1960 when the Yankees decided to honor stars of yesteryear with an Old Timers' Day contest between players from the 1939 All-Star Game. While the wheels were a little slower and that heater didn't have quite as much zip on it, reminiscing was the main objective. Presented to Ruffing for his involvement in the contest is this LeCoultre & Company desk clock. A gold placard on front reads: "1939 All Stars American vs. National Leagues Yankee Stadium- 1960 Red Ruffing." The clock presents EX/MT quality throughout. Although not in working order, we bet a little TLC could remedy this back to life. Letter of provenance from the Ruffing family.
