    Description

1957 Ty Cobb Handwritten Signed Letter with Stock Advice. Not every bone in Ty Cobb's body was evil. It is widely known that the Peach made millions of dollars off of investments in retirement and lived a comfortable life. He also liked to help others with his considerable knowledge in investing. This three page letter, written in Cobb's customary green ink, show's the nicer side of the batting great. Cobb tells the recipient that Coca-Cola stock is doing just fine and not to sell once the stock splits. What Cobb wrote on the final page truly warms the heart. "I do not get so much out of stock gains - now - I do get a kick in getting others in." Cobb signed the third page "Ty" and "T.R.C." after his inspirational words on the reverse. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
