1957 Milwaukee Braves World Championship Ring Presented to Assistant Director of Scouting. Few World Series have seen a greater convergence of Hall of Fame legends. The Braves brought to this October '57 battle Aaron, Mathews, Schoendienst and Spahn, while the Yankees attempted to counter with Mantle, Berra, Slaughter and Ford. But Game Seven saw the Yankee bats fall silent, earning the Braves club the coveted World Championship ring. Here we offer the shimmering prize once proudly sported by assistant scouting director Roland Hemond.

The rather simple, elegant design of this ring is so much more attractive and dignified than the gaudy style one typically sees today, with a half-carat brilliant cut rubiy at the center of a basepath theme with diamonds for the bases. Raised text running the perimeter reads, "Milwaukee World Champions." The left shank offers an engraved "R. Hemond" with the Braves logo, while the right pictures the Braves logo Indian head screaming the historic year "1957." Inside the band is stamped "Balfour 14K." Size eleven and a half (11.5). Fine condition. Original purchase paperwork included.
