Description
1957 Jackie Robinson Signed Check. Just two weeks before the first Opening Day in a decade that would fail to feature the great Jackie Robinson, the future Hall of Famer made payment for tickets on "American Airlines" with this check drawn from his "Chemical Corn Exchange Bank" account. All ink is applied in Jackie's 9+/10 blue ink, as well as his flawless closing "Jack R. Robinson" signature. While bank stamping does obscure to some degree a portion of Robinson's writing, the autograph itself remains mercifully clear of these cancellations. No fold lines or other flaws to note. Included is a signed 1993 letter of provenance from Jackie's widow Rachel. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.More information about Jackie Robinson Sports Player.
