Description

1957 Brooklyn Dodgers Reunion Multi-Signed Print. The 1957 Brooklyn Dodgers were the final team to represent Brooklyn before relocating to Los Angeles for the 1958 season. Managed by Walt Alston, the team finished with a 84-70 record, placing third in the National League. Key players included aging stars like Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Pee Wee Reese, and Roy Campanella, who were all part of the Dodgers' glory years but were nearing the end of their careers. The season was marked by declining attendance and behind-the-scenes tension as owner Walter O'Malley finalized the controversial move to the West Coast. The 1957 Dodgers symbolized the end of an era for Brooklyn baseball and left a lasting emotional impact on fans.

Offered is a print, framed at 18x22", signed by team members at a 1990 reunion. Among the twenty signers are Pee Wee Reese, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Duke Snider, Johnny Podres, Carl Erskine, Elmer Valo, Don Elston, Charlie Neal, Clem Labine, Ken Lehman, Don Zimmer, Don Newcombe, Ed Roebuck, Randy Jackson, Joe Pignatano, Roger Craig, Jim Gentile, Bill Harris, and Gino Cimoli.
