1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Tour of Japan Team Signed Sheet. The day after their heartbreaking Game Seven loss to the Yankees in the 1956 World Series, the Bums set off for the Orient, a journey that would prove to be the great Jackie Robinson's last with the team he represented for a decade. His signature is one of nineteen appearing upon this 8.5x11" page of stationery from Tokyo's Imperial Hotel. Other notables include Campanella, Reese, Drysdale, Herman, Hall of Fame umpire Jocko Conlan, Newcombe, Gilliam and famous batboy/forger Charlie DiGiovanna (though we stress that this sheet is 100% authentic!). Signatures rate 8/10 or better and the page is folded and toned but presents well regardless. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
