1955 Joe Black Game Worn Brooklyn Dodgers Pants.
The 1952 N.L. Rookie of the Year, Joe Black became the first African American to win a World Series game while with the Brooklyn Dodgers. This pair of "Rawlings size 38" gray flannel road pants with blue piping was worn by Black during the historic 1955 championship season. When Black was traded midway though the season, the pants were assigned to and worn by outfielder Walt Moryn.

Five labels are sewn in the waistline: washing instructions, Rawlings, size, "Set 1 1955" and "Joe Black" in chainlink on a felt swatch. Moryn's "49" is written in marker. A few moth holes appear (one on the back) and there is a team repair on the rear pocket. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
