1953 World Series Press Pin Cufflinks from the Casey Stengel Collection. The letter "V" in the design of the 1953 press pin doesn't stand for "Victory," though it may as well, as the Yanks did take four of the first six World Series games from the Dodgers this year. Instead, the "V" is the roman numeral "five," counting the consecutive appearances in the Series (and ultimately World Championships) since Casey came to town. What Stengel once proudly wore about town can now be yours, as we present this classy and classic pair of press pins, each rating a legitimate NRMT. The threaded posts on verso have been removed, with apparent fourteen karat gold cufflink hardware soldered in its place.
