    Description

1953 Hugh Duffy Signed Government Postcard, PSA/DNA Mint 9.
The National League home run champ of 1894 and 1897 was still pleasing fans almost fifty seasons after hanging up his spikes as he graciously returned his autograph to a young collector who had mailed him a self-addressed postcard. Signed just over a year before his passing, the black ink signature still retains its original 9/10 boldness. A postmark does touch Dufffy's first name. Duffy wrote the following below his signature: "Red Sox Coach to help Young players." Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Mint 9. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
