    Description

1952 Rogers Hornsby Signed Letter. "Any ballplayer that don't sign autographs for little kids ain't an American," the Hall of Fame second baseman once told a reporter for The Saturday Evening Post. "He's a communist." Rajah practiced what he preached when he signed this letter on St. Louis Browns stationery. Hornsby signed the bottom in 8/10 blue ink. Mailing fold marks touch the lowermost portion of the autograph. The letter was asking Hornsby for a signed photo but Rajah had none to give. At least he obliged by signing the offered letter. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
