1950's Roy Campanella All-Star Game Presentational Tie Bar. The only other example that has surfaced on the hobby's major auction block belonged to a trainer for the Chicago Cubs, leading us to surmise that Chicago was the likely derivation of this little beauty. Campy only represented the best of the Senior Circuit once in that city, at the Comiskey Park Midsummer Classic in 1950. This is only conjecture. The primary design point is a pendant that dangles from the bar, announcing, "NL All Star Game" on obverse and engraved "Roy Campanella" on verso. A real diamond and "14K" stamping appear on front and back respectively. Condition is pristine. Pendant is approximately one inch square (1x1"). An exceptionally rare opportunity to claim a glimmering treasure direct from the trophy case of one of the greatest Brooklyn Bums in history.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
