Description

1950's Napoleon Lajoie Signed Note with Baseball Advice. Young Dick Evans, a lifelong autograph collector, was a bit more advanced than most of his brethren. He explained to Nap Lajoie on the reverse of this note (5.25x3.5") that he has over 670 signatures and would love to add the iconic hitter to his collection. He also asked for a little hitting advice. Lajoie was more than happy to help. His priceless response. "The first pointers in batting is practice and some more. Practice keep at it Larry Lajoie." The signature is rendered in blue ballpoint and rates 8/10. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
