Description
1950's Fred Clarke Signed Note Regarding Spitballs. The spitter was last thrown legally in 1934, the year Burleigh Grimes retired as the last pitcher grandfathered in upon the 1920 ban. Clarke provides a 10/10 ink comment on the pitch: "I do not think the spit ball should come back, Fred Clarke." Short note is matted below a Perez-Steele card. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
