    1950 Joe DiMaggio Japanese Travel Document. Passport-style card was carried by the Yankee Clipper as he toured the Land of the Rising Sun with good friend Lefty O'Doul as a goodwill ambassador for the sport. DiMaggio's name is the only English language on the document, which measures 3.5x5" in size. A black and white portrait photograph of the Hall of Fame outfielder is affixed at lower left. The document entered the hobby as part of the The Joe DiMaggio Collection auction in 2006, and is accompanied by a letter of provenance signed by the family.
