1948 Bill Stewart National League All-Star Game Pendant Lot of 2. Bill Stewart was a fine arbiter during his days as an umpire in the National League. Four times he presided over the World Series and also participated in four All-Star contests during a two decade long association with the Senior Circuit. The elder Stewart received these two pendants (.75" diameter) for his participation in the '48 Mid-Summer Classic. Both have a raised diamond and contain 10 k gold. "National League 48 All Star Game" encircles a raised star on front while "10k '36 '40 '54" are engraved on back. The years of All-Star Game service were added at a later date given the 1954 reference.
