1948-54 Autograph Book With Over 600 Signatures Including Honus Wagner, Jackie Robinson, Mel Ott, Jim Thorpe, Connie Mack. Autograph collecting has connected children to their heroes since the first baseball pitch was thrown. Today the market is booming as autograph shows and private signings have become the norm. When our consignor collected these autographs we are certain he never thought his total would reach over 600. Hours and days don't apply to the time it took to secure these autographs, try more like years. When baseball teams would ascend on the Windy City, our consignor would inevitably be there in hopes of securing autographs. His success rate was high given the total offered. Many of the men represented in this massive scrapbook are enshrined in Cooperstown and have signed more than once. Many are from baseball's early days as well. Due to space constraints, we will list some of the top names in the catalog, but a complete listing will be available on-line. The fruits of our consignor's labor produced this once-in-a-lifetime feast of signatures. Many signed the page or a magazine photo which was pasted in and most autographs average 9/10 to 10/10. Both covers are present but detached and some of the pages have suffered tears. But the signatures are free of any blemishes.

Highlights include: (4) Nellie Fox, (4) Larry Doby, (3) Bob Feller, Jimmie Foxx, Leo Durocher, Charlie Gehringer, Hank Greenberg, Clark Griffith, Rogers Hornsby (secretarial), Carl Hubbell, (2) Connie Mack, (2) Mickey Mantle, Mel Ott, (3) Satchel Paige, (2) Jackie Robinson, Red Ruffing, George Sisler, Casey Stengel, Bill Veeck, Honus Wagner, Ed Walsh, Chief Bender, Roy Campanella, Mickey Cochrane, Dizzy Dean, Joe DiMaggio (stamped), Bucky Harris, Gil Hodges, Al Simmons, Casey Stengel, Ed Walsh (secretarial) and many more. We will have the top names authenticated, but due to the size of this listing the others have not been vetted. Please keep in mind our consignor collected these autographs himself. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
