1947 Hank Greenberg Signed Pittsburgh Pirates Contract. Hank Greenberg, a Hall of Fame first baseman, played his final MLB season with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1947. Known for his powerful hitting, Greenberg's leadership and experience were invaluable to the team. He hit 25 home runs and had 74 RBIs that season, retiring shortly after.

This contract secured Greenberg's services with the Pirates for his final season in the majors. The Pirates paid Greenberg $40,000 for the '47 campaign.
