1947 Cy Young Handwritten Signed Letter. Cy Young must have blushed when reading this heartfelt note from a very big fan. The well-wisher explained that Young was his favorite pitcher and that he even incurred ridicule when he boasted of the Hall of Famer's numerous stats as a youngster. The note concludes by asking Young to sign two baseballs, one for the writer and one for his son. Young responded that he would gladly sign two baseballs and to send them to his residence in Newcomerstown, Ohio. Young autographed the note (5.x6.5") in 10/10 ink. Mailing folds are present but they do not impede upon the autograph. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
