    Description

1947 Brooklyn Dodgers National League Championship Ring Presented to Hap Minor. It's arguably the most important team in baseball history, the one that saved the sport's soul by taking the first brave stand against its shameful history of racial segregation. So while any Championship ring deriving from Major League Baseball is highly collectible, there's something extra special about this particular model.

It was presented to scout Hap Minor, whose name is engraved inside the size thirteen (13) band, which is also stamped "Murchison Newark 14K." A real diamond is set into a blue stone on the face, encircled by raised text announcing, "Brooklyn Baseball Club." Each shank features a blue embossed Dodgers logo. A truly important relic from the most important rookie season in Major League history.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
