Description
1945 Ty Cobb Handwritten & Signed Letter. In this 1945 handwritten and signed letter on his personal letterhead, Cobb responds to a fan who had written to him six years earlier. Cobb explains that he only just discovered it in his desk. The second half of the letter reads:"It's been a long time as letter carried a date of June 12th 1939 and many things can happen but I always try and answer every request and so this letter to you. I am sorry this letter was misplaced. I am, Sincerely, Ty Cobb."
Customary folds are present and Cobb's cursive appears in bold steel-tip fountain pen ink. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
