1944 Baltimore Orioles International League Championship Ring. The Cleveland Indians Double-A affiliate took it all the way to the house this year, narrowly outpacing the Newark Bears for the International League pennant, and then conquering the American Association Champion Louisville Colonels to claim the Junior World Series victory. It would appear this ring is for the former achievement, an attractive but appropriately sedate design for a minor league Championship during war time. Embossed lettering on the ring's face reports, "Baltimore Orioles, International League Champions, 1944." Interior band is stamped "14K" and engraved with the name "Stanley Benjamin," an outfielder and second-best hitter on the team who played 241 games of Major League ball amidst nearly one thousand in the minors. Size ten.
