Description

1942 Eppa Rixey Signed Letter. The Hall of Fame pitcher sends a quick note to an old baseball buddy on the letterhead of his insurance company. He praises Babe Herman for his success with the minor league Hollywood Stars baseball team, writing in part, "Congratulations on the way you have been hitting out there and I wish you were back with the Reds. They could certainly use you." Rixey's tough closing signature rates an impressive 9+/10, and the page is likewise NRMT with original mailing folds but no other flaws of note. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
