Description

1941 Harry Heilmann Signed Check. From one "collector" to another. Personal check penned by the Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer just seventy-two hours before the Pearl Harbor attacks makes payment of $229.90 to the "Collector of Internal Revenue, Detroit Mich." All ink is rendered in Slug's 9+/10 black fountain pen ink. Bank stamping remains clear of Heilmann's signature, as does a single vertical fold line. A solid example of this rare and desirable check. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
